| Feats of Arms is the brainchild of Martin Forrester, student of the Guild of Historical Swordsmanship and 1st dan Northern Preying Mantis Style Kung-fu. After around 5 years on the medieval re-enactment circuit, I've gathered a few like-minded individuals such as Gil Harrison (Viking knife-fighting champion) and Fred Ryall (www.ryallarmouries.co.uk) to perform semi-choreographed showfights in full harness. We are available for re-enactments, medieval dinners, openings and any other function at a very reasonable price. For more information, contact Martin Forrester at: |

Nice things people have said about us: "Cool!" - spectator "Both you and Gill put on a splendid display of swordsmanship at Traquair, with just the right amount of brutality and venom. You managed to convey the intenseness and physicality of conflict in plate armour in such a manner that the audience were left in no doubt that the fight was a real struggle for domination. I look forward to having you both back again next year." - Allan Muir, Mythos events (http://mythoshistoricevents.synthasite.com/) "More awesome than a giraffe pie!" - Paul Bavill, Foreign Field events (www.foreign-field.co.uk) "The simple truth about these chaps is that they love to fight ~ whether engaged in practiced moves, utilising various weapons, or trying hard to best one another. One is uncertain if the swordplay is choreographed or live conflict ~ it is neither and both ~ here the best man wins!" - Daniel Herlakin, Bloodstone Arts (www.BloodstoneArts.com) |
